Dr Liza Thompson Stepping down as CEO

Dr Liza Thompson has announced this week that she will be stepping down as CEO of SATEDA.

“I have felt so privileged to be at the forefront of creating what is a now a small but mighty women’s sector charity, which prides itself on keeping survivors at the heart of everything we do. SATEDA is now a very stable charity, embedded in the local community, and is ready for a new leader to take it onto the next stage of it’s development.”

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and emotionally intelligent leader who understands the gendered nature of domestic violence and abuse; its causes and consequences.

  • Do you have inspirational management and leadership skills, with an inclusive, empowering approach?
  • Do you have direct experience of fundraising and complex budget management in the non-profit sector and a proven track record of successful income generation?
  • Do you have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop effective networks with local government, statutory and other voluntary organisations?
  • Do you have experience of managing support services and a clear understanding of trauma and its impact?
  • Are you passionate about women’s equality and do you have the ambition and energy to drive forward SATEDA’s work and impact?
