Campaign

SATEDA’s mission has always been to see an end to domestic abuse and all forms of male violence against women and girls. This is a big mission and one we can’t achieve alone, which is why we want and need to mobilise our community to join us in standing against domestic abuse and male violence against women and girls.

If you want to see an end to domestic abuse in your community then one way you can show your support is by joining our Break Free campaign.

What does it mean to join the campaign?

  • You will be counted as one more person that wants to see freedom for victims of abuse. Having a growing number of people as part of this campaign will show perpetrators, funders, policy makers and politicians that we mean business. It will also show victims that they are not alone and that we stand with them.
  • You will be given resources to help you spread the word, helping people to spot warning signs and know how to get help.
  • You will receive regular campaign emails, celebrating stories of freedom and keeping you up to date with what we are doing to support victims of abuse.

“I’m joining the campaign to stand with SATEDA and all those working to end domestic abuse in our community.”

“I’m adding my name to ensure that the victims of domestic abuse know that the community of Swale is with them every step on their journey towards freedom. I stand in solidarity with you and applaud your courage, resilience and devotion to securing safety and freedom for yourselves and your children. I want to let perpetrators know that abuse is not ok. I commit to add my voice, spread the message and help keep my community safe from abuse.”
