Dr Liza Thompson has announced this week that she will be stepping down as CEO of SATEDA.
“I have felt so privileged to be at the forefront of creating what is a now a small but mighty women’s sector charity, which prides itself on keeping survivors at the heart of everything we do. SATEDA is now a very stable charity, embedded in the local community, and is ready for a new leader to take it onto the next stage of it’s development.”
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and emotionally intelligent leader who understands the gendered nature of domestic violence and abuse; its causes and consequences.
- Do you have inspirational management and leadership skills, with an inclusive, empowering approach?
- Do you have direct experience of fundraising and complex budget management in the non-profit sector and a proven track record of successful income generation?
- Do you have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop effective networks with local government, statutory and other voluntary organisations?
- Do you have experience of managing support services and a clear understanding of trauma and its impact?
- Are you passionate about women’s equality and do you have the ambition and energy to drive forward SATEDA’s work and impact?
