Services for women

We provide a full journey of support for women affected by domestic abuse. Take a look at the services we offer to see how we can support you.

Taking the first step

We know it’s not easy to reach out. But when you do, you’ll be met with understanding, not judgment. Everything you share with us stays confidential.

Many women contact SATEDA directly. You can too. You don’t need permission or a referral.

If you’re working with a professional, they can help you get in touch. If they refer you to us, we’ll contact you and talk through the support we offer.

We’re here for you. We’ll never pressure you or push you into anything you’re not ready for.

One to one support

We can assign you a support worker who’ll provide advice, advocacy and emotional support based on your individual needs. She will help you stay safe in the relationship and support you to leave it safely if that’s what you choose to do.

Recovery Activities

We offer a range of group activities to help you process and recover from domestic abuse. Our groups run online and in-person over a number of weeks, and offer insights, confidence, support and above all, the understanding that you’re not alone.

Support 2 Court

By your side: Our team can support you through child arrangement proceedings, and to apply for protective orders through civil courts. They can help write and submit your statement to court and can attend your hearings with you in Kent.

Employability Programme

Spread your wings: Our award-winning Employability Programme invites survivors to take on a volunteer role within SATEDA, alongside a programme of training and support. This aims to give women confidence and work-place skills to get employment as part of living a full life after abuse.
