Freedom Programme
Are you looking to understand more about abusive relationships and how to protect yourself in the future? The Freedom Programme is a supportive, 12-week course designed to help women recognise the signs of abuse, make sense of their experiences, and rebuild confidence.

Own My Life
Using a range of multimedia tools, the course explores how abuse works, how trauma affects the brain, and how popular culture can reinforce harmful messages about gender, relationships, and power. Women are supported to recognise and challenge these messages, and to rebuild their confidence and identity.

Power 2 Change
Power 2 Change is a self-led course that evolves with the unique needs of each group. It is designed to boost self-esteem and confidence, creating a safe and supportive space where women can connect and share their experiences.

You and me, mum
A supportive group programme for mothers who have experienced abuse, and whose relationship with their child(ren) may have been affected as a result. The course helps women in their recovery and supports them to rebuild and strengthen those relationships, recognising the impact abuse can have on parenting and family bonds.

EmpowHer Programme
This programme supports participants to build confidence and job skills. You’ll explore the current job market, reflect on your next steps, and learn how to navigate job application processes.

Economic Abuse Programme
You’ll learn how to spot the signs, including fraud, misrepresentation, coercion and threats. The course also explores post-separation abuse, how economic control affects both you and your children, and the possible impact on your health and wellbeing.

Peer Mentoring Hubs
A range of peer mentoring support is available for women who want to stay connected with SATEDA or who aren’t yet ready to break their isolation. We also offer The Hive, an informal space where you can chat over a cuppa with other women who’ve had similar experiences to you.

Therapeutic Recovery Service (TRS)
We have limited counselling opportunities to talk to one of our trained counsellors for help and support as you process the emotional and mental impact of abuse.
