You and me, mum
What is You and me, mum?
You and me, mum is an opportunity to learn about how you can rebuild your relationship with your child which may have suffered as a result of the abuse in your home.
In this programme, you will learn how the abuse you experienced affected you as a parent, and how it affected your children. Develop communication skills and promote healthy relationships.
You will also explore key protective behaviour messages and strategies for keeping mothers, children and young people safe.
The programme consists of a 2-hour session each week for 10 weeks, facilitated by a domestic abuse specialist from SATEDA.
