New women and family support hub in Dunkirk

We are looking forward to starting the Dunkirk Hub on Monday 6th February to reach women and children who we know are not getting the support they need and deserve.

For now it will take place in a relaxed atmosphere at Dunkirk Village Hall every Monday between 10 and 12pm, where we’ll have toiletries and hygiene products available for women, tea and coffee, and entertainment for the children. We’ll soon be bringing free clothes in too.

We are trialling this initiative in partnership with Swale Borough Council, Early Help, Kent County Council and the NHS in the hope of reaching more women and children in need.

We handed out some leaflets to the local community last week and we’re looking forward to meeting them. Please help us circulate this information if you have any connections local to Dunkirk and the surrounding area so we can reach as many women as possible.
