What to expect at a drop in

Drop ins are located in private spaces where you can speak one to one with a Community IDVA (Independence Domestic Violence Advocate).

You will be asked to share your story with one of our team, who will also do a risk assessment with you to help decide what support you need.

We promise to believe you, to never judge you and to keep things confidential.

We will give you support and advice, and create a safety plan for you to help you stay safe.

Asking for help is an incredibly brave thing to do and it’s the first step on your journey towards freedom.

SATEDA will commit to being with you on the rest of your journey for as long as you need us to be, but we will never force you to continue or make you accept our help and support.

Drop ins

You can find us at ‘drop ins‘ which are run by SATEDA, where we offer our services and refer you to other agencies depending on the type of support you need. If you need confidential help about domestic abuse matters, you’ll be able to find our support workers at the following drop ins:
