Wear a purple ribbon to stand against domestic violence
The annual, global campaign 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence takes place from 25th November to 10th December. During this period, SATEDA aims to raise awareness, build solidarity, share strategies for action, educate and learn from the next generation, and encourage conversations around gender-based violence and domestic abuse.
This year, we are introducing our new purple ribbon pins, symbolising the awareness colour for domestic violence. By wearing the purple pin, you can help spread awareness about domestic violence and create natural conversations about all forms of abuse.
We accept donations of all sizes in return for a ribbon, with every contribution going towards supporting the growing demand for services for women and children in our community facing domestic abuse. Please email comms@sateda.org if you would like to request a ribbon or display them in your workplace. There will also be in select locations.
Thank you for your support!
