Programmes For Young People

Our programmes allow children and young people to explore and understand themselves, their experience of domestic abuse and their emotions

Children are domestic abuse victims in their own right

90% of children are in the same or the next room when abuse happens at home. This means they hear, they see, they sense, and they experience the abuse, the fear and the trauma.

The effects of growing up with an abusive parent can be debilitating and long term, which is why we’ve developed our service to deliver affirming, empowering and transformative programmes for under 18s in Swale.
